New England Lab's "Wakefild Series" Designer Overlay Steel casework has been designed and constructed with materials that are laboratory grade and are highly recyclable.

Designer Overlay Steel can have 15% to 80% recycled content depending upon material selection:

Steel

• 25.5% post consumer which can contribute to LEED credit MR4
• 6.8% pre-consumer which can contribute to LEED credit MR4.
• Systems solutions that maximize mobility and adaptability creating a user friendly, long life-cycle laboratory.
• Durable, high-quality surface protection with minimal waste and Zero VOC's.
• Durability that meets and exceeds SEFA 8 performance standards, to provide an even longer product life cycle.

Wood

• FSC^® Certified wood products can be provided which contribute to LEED credit MR7.
• Choice of several rapidly renewable materials including Bamboo and Agriboard which contributes to LEED credit MR6.
• Offer no added urea formaldehyde (NAUF) panel products which contributes towards EQ4.4 and are California Air Resources Board (CARB) compliant.
• Offer Powder Coated steel and stainless steel drawer bodies and shelves which contributes to LEED credit MR4.
• Re-Constituted Veneers are available to maximize the recycled construction of materials.

Plastic laminate, phenolic or polypropylene fronts are also available with recycled content.
