ARCHITECT: Elkus Manfredi Architects
CONTRACTOR: John Moriarty & Associates
Bayer and CRISPR Therapeutics have founded a joint venture, Casebia Therapeutics, with the goal of focusing on cures for blood disorders, blindness and congenital heart disease. To fit-out their new space in Cambridge, MA New England Lab provided freestanding bench systems that best met their need for flexibility and lab services at the work space. These tables include chemical resistant phenolic work surfaces along with suspended steel cabinets with plain sliced Maple wood fronts. Sink base units finish off the peninsula configuration and include acrylic panels that double as a pegboard and splash guard without creating dark shadows. Energy efficient fume hoods and various fixtures such as faucets, eye washes and needle valves finish off the laboratory.
