JOB NAME: Davidson College | New Academic Building

Home to the biology, chemistry, psychology and environmental studies departments, the newly constructed Academic Building at Davidson College will allow collaboration of transdisciplinary research. New England Lab provided fixed rift cut red oak veneer casework with epoxy resin work surfaces for student work stations in the teaching laboratories. Modified steel tables with decorative wooden end panels as well as both suspended and mobile cabinets were located against a 12” flex system. The 12” core allows easy access to plumbing and electrical fixtures. Tables with backdraft grills were installed for the mild fumes emitted during experimentation. High performance, energy efficient fume hoods were supplied for cost savings in the facility.
