Material Description:
A modified epoxy resin cast in permanent molds and oven cured to result in a material with
superior corrosion resistance. Tops are available in 3/4" and 1" thick in black, grey or white.

resistance.

Phenolic Resin
Material Description:
A solid laminate made from kraft paper saturated in phenolic resin, heated and compressed to form a panel. Tops are available in 3/4" and 1" thick in a variety of standard surface colors.
Edge Treatment:
Polished black finished edge.
Recommended Use:
All areas, especially chemical, research and mechanical labs. Areas requiring chemical and heat
resistance.

Stainless Steel
Material Description:
Type 304 16 gauge formed stainless steel tops with hat channel reinforcement and sound
deadened on underside. All welding ground smooth and polished to a brushed satin finish. Integral sinks, back and end splashes where required. Type 316 stainless steel also available.
Edge Treatment:
Square edge or no drip marine edge.
Recommended Use:
Critical environments such as operating rooms, animal facilities, clean rooms, constant temperature rooms, and high moisture areas. Sterile areas such as tissue / cell culture areas, glass wash or cage wash rooms. Also areas where radioactive materials are used, and areas subject to fire and abrasion.

Plastic Laminate
Material Description:
High pressure plastic laminated to a panel product wood core. Full balanced construction with backer sheet. Available in a full range of color and pattern options as well as a chemical resistant
finish. 1 1/4" solid core or 1 1/2" standard construction.
Edge Treatment:
Decorative self-edge, impact resistant "T"-mold, post formed or premium wood edge finish.
Recommended Use:
General purpose areas requiring limited heat and chemical resistance.

Solid Maple
Material Description:
Solid maple wood strips glued together under pressure and finished with a transparent chemical
resistant material. The result creates a top with the grain and color variances normally associated with a natural product such as wood. Available 1 1/4" thick.

Recommended Use:
Traditional surface used in testing labs and industrial facilities.
