In the guided tour, we start with a brief introduction and review terminology that we will be using in the showroom. A New England Lab product expert walk you through the main features of the furniture, while providing a broad overview from fixed to flexible systems. We will include a brief description of the major product lines that we offer, and point out some of the customization details. This tour is good for anyone wanting to learn more about lab furniture and fume hoods, or someone trying to find the best fit for their needs. You will be able to discover new products and ideas that you may have not considered. Since it’s a private tour, you can take your time and dig into the details as much as you would like.

This tour is great for someone who knows exactly what they want to see and discuss. Go directly to a specific product or just explore and there will be a New England Lab expert ready to answer any questions. This tour could be an in-depth review of one product line, or a comparison between two product lines to help you select what the one that is most appropriate for your needs. This is your tour and you take the lead! The time needed for a Self-Guided Tour tends to be shorter because of the more focused conversation. The adjacent conference room “Synergy” is available if drawings need to be looked at, or if we need to sketch on the whiteboard for brainstorming sessions.

Get a quality sense of who we are and what we can do by taking the facilities tour of our corporate headquarters. This tour takes you for a walk through each of our two neighboring buildings to provide a better understanding of our capabilities. The 3 Arrow Drive building features two floors of offices and open spaces where we work hard to complete your project smoothly. The 460 Wildwood building features a complete tour of our woodworking factory floor, quick ship warehouse, and product training center. Combine this with the Guided Showroom Tour for the ultimate tour package! This is a longer walking tour with two flights of stairs, so let us know if you would like to use the elevators/lifts.

The Showroom can be booked for pre-planning meetings where the “Synergy” conference room is used to do a complete design review of the drawings and specifications prior to bid document completion. You will work with a New England Lab product expert to review every detail from which type of bench meets the client needs to fume hood locations and escape routes. Figuring out which kind of shelf retainers are desired, electrical outlet locations, and shelf mounting heights are other questions that are easily reviewed in front of the actual products on display.
This event is great for the architect who wants to limit the RFI questions, make sure the scope is clear, or is looking for assistance to ensure a smooth and successful project. This is also helpful for the end users of the lab who may need to provide input to the questions that arise when an architect is not involved on the project.
We have additional spaces upstairs in the “Collaboration” and “Discovery” conference rooms. These rooms can be combined for larger meetings that members of the mechanical trades may need to be present, or if there is a large group of end users giving design input. With our 28+ years of experience planning laboratories, we are confident that we can assist you with your design and make sure the documents clearly communicate your needs.

If we are already working on your project and we have submitted our shop drawings, consider meeting with us at the showroom for a page by page review and red-line session of our drawings. This is a fast way to process approval drawings and get them into fabrication, as our experienced project team will be there to answer questions and give advice directly. Most products are likely on display in the showroom and can be reviewed when product concerns arise. Walk out of this meeting with a complete set of reviewed and approved shop drawings to keep your project on track for delivery. It’s a win-win event!

The showroom and product training center were designed especially for special events. The large space directly upstairs from the showroom can be set up classroom style, auditorium style, conference table style, or set up for dining. The removable wall can be used to divide the space if needed. A kitchen on each floor gives caterers enough space to provide hot food for guests wherever they might be located during the event. The showroom and its lobby area, coat room, and “Synergy” conference room can all be utilized to provide a proper guest experience for your particular event. We can even extend the event space into our manufacturing facility if needed. This is perfect for industry related events such as chapter meetings, company training meetings, or just get-together networking events. Use our cable TV and five big screen TV’s to catch a sporting event while leaning on a flexible lab bench, or have a drink while discussing the benefits of the media ceiling. Events can be held for up to 150 people depending on the timing and usage of the space. Contact us with the event ideas you have, and if it’s industry related, we can likely waive the rental fees.

Need a conference room for a few hours either before or after one of our tours or events? Let us know! We have several conference rooms that can be utilized for meetings with your clients, peers or colleagues. We would be happy to book one or more of our rooms for your use if it makes meeting with others more convenient for you. Need a space of your own? Let us know and we can set you up in a private office with a phone and a Wi-Fi connection so that you can get some work done.

If you are a vendor with products in our showroom, your account representatives are absolutely welcome to bring clients into the showroom! Please book a time slot as we have a busy showroom schedule. Your clients are also welcome to join any of the other tours and events that we offer.
