The new building at 125 Binney Street in Kendall Square matched ARIAD’s goal for a modernized facility housing efficient, sustainable and collaborative laboratories. New England Lab provided pre-plumbed and pre-wired freestanding bench systems that were shortened to a custom height. Casework consisted of painted steel cabinets with European steamed beech wood fronts to warm up the space. The vivarium holds stainless steel casework with a custom decorative detail as well as a stainless steel high performance fume hood. 44 of the fume hoods include high performance bench-mounted as well as standard floor-mounted hoods.
