As one of 13 biomedical research laboratories in the U.S., George Mason University’s new 52,000 sq. ft. two-story facility had a host of unique requirements. To meet the needs of new BSL-2 and BSL-3 laboratory suites, New England Lab built and installed a compliment of both wood overlay Wakefield Series casework and Stainless Steel Stratford Series casework. Our Flex Series core furniture system was also utilized. Safeguard Series fume hoods were installed to meet both GMU's high performance testing and their design requirements. A closely coordinated effort from start to finish made this cutting-edge facility a reality.
