The NC State Laboratory of Public Health is a critical institution that provides laboratory testing, consulting and training services to both public and private healthcare organizations across North Carolina. Their new laboratory space was designed with durable and flexible lab furniture to meet the demanding requirements of rapidly changing healthcare needs. Altus Series benches, which are movable and reconfigurable, can adapt to future changes in laboratory processes or to the requirements of newly purchased equipment by NC State Lab. The wood veneer casework not only imparts a classic, warm aesthetic to the space but also ensures a long life with its chemical resistance finish. The space is equipped with stainless steel scullery sinks and wire shelving, which significantly aids in the sanitization process. The addition of phenolic pegboards, overhead service panels, and black phenolic resin work surfaces completes the space, providing a comprehensive and professional laboratory environment that will serve the healthcare industry for years to come.
