North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, a prestigious educational institution, and Merck, a highly regarded pharmaceutical company, have recently announced their latest partnership; the establishment of a biotechnology training center at Gateway Research Park’s South Campus in East Greensboro, North Carolina. This facility has been designed to enhance academic programming and provide training opportunities for North Carolina A&T students pursuing careers in biotechnology. The center is equipped with durable painted steel pre-wired and pre-plumbed benches featuring phenolic worktops, ensuring maximum flexibility and longevity. Additionally, NovaGuard™ fume hoods have been incorporated throughout the space to optimize visibility and ensure enhanced safety during experimentation. The quality and flexible design of the lab demonstrates the shared commitment of North Carolina A&T and Merck to foster innovation and collaboration and invest in their talented students and researchers.
