CONTRACTOR: Berry | a Division of Suffolk
This large 12 story research facility features eight floors of Lexington Series plain sliced red oak wood casework and epoxy work surfaces. A custom welded steel shelving system allows for great unsupported spans over the work surface for maximum counter space. Writing stations were provided throughout the project's more than two hundred and eighty peninsula style benches. Wire shelving was integrated into the project as were pipe chase mounted shelving. Solid oak table units were constructed with four inch by four inch square oak legs. Stainless steel work surfaces with integral sinks were provided at sink locations. The project's site logistics required off hours material delivery and dual shift installations as multiple floors were installed at the same time.
