ARCHITECT: Ellenzweig
CONTRACTOR: Jones Lang LaSalle
As the chosen lab furniture sub-contractor on this project, New England Lab had the privilege of furnishing the laboratory casework, fume hoods and accessories for EMD Serono’s brand new 135,000 sq. ft. cutting-edge research facility in Billerica, MA. The project included the build-out of several specialized research and development laboratories, and animal care facilities. The requirements for this largely sterile environment called for our Stainless Steel Stratford Series casework and custom designed 12’ Harvard Series stainless steel fume hoods. Bamboo veneer was selected for the wood casework components of the project, with black epoxy work surfaces. New England Lab also provided and installed major pieces of lab equipment including autoclaves, glass washers, cage washers and bio-safety cabinets). This client’s project has been certified as a LEED Gold project.
