AkzoNobel’s new research and development facility in High Point, North Carolina fosters advancements in paints and performance coatings with highly developed application and testing equipment. Many of our products utilize AkzoNobel durable finishes such as the powdercoated Cambridge Series tables and steel cabinets that were provided. Hexagonal service columns were designed to promote the modern and cutting-edge style AkzoNobel is known for and were supplied with copper ground bars and weather-tight electrical receptacles. Metal-hooded extractor arms were also used within this space. To further promote safety within this space, custom-designed stainless steel solvent waste disposal stations were located at the end of the islands for convenient clean-up. NovaGuard fume hoods, stainless steel worktops, butcher-block worktops, and high-density wire shelving provide complete functionality for AkzoNobel’s researchers.
