North Carolina State University’s College of Agriculture and Life Sciences is focused on plant science innovation and sustainability as natural and artificial challenges continue to affect our environment. Located on the Centennial Campus, this hub will be the central location for organizations and industry partners to develop solutions using team-based science. NEL provided pre-plumbed and pre-wired freestanding benches and island core systems with epoxy tops and mobile cabinets. Phenolic resin was chosen for door/drawer fronts on steel casework due to its non-porous characteristics making it easily cleanable against salt water and debris. The lab equipment package included autoclaves, biosafety cabinets, and laminar flow hoods. Floor-mounted fume hoods, stainless steel tables, and stainless steel pegboards were also supplied to meet the clients requirements.
