NAME: Elizabeth (Bette) Parent

TITLE: Senior Estimator

Bette has been serving New England Lab since 2001. Starting as a lab drafter she quickly became our most thorough and most organized designer, using AutoCAD software to complete highly detailed shop drawings on our most complex and largest projects.  Bette's ability to keep communications organized and her attention to detail made her invaluable to our drafting team. She quickly became a quality leader there, bringing her specific processes and experience to newer drafting team members.

With an extensive 10 years of experience in designing complete lab furniture projects that meet plans and specifications, Bette decided to move into the estimating department. Her ability to interpret architects' designs and her vast knowledge of how products have to be designed to function and fit properly allows her to best understand the unique needs of potential opportunities. By preparing a well-defined scope of work, and using that same thorough and detailed skillset during spec and drawing review, she can set our design and project management teams up for success with accurately defined products and pricing.

In her personal time, Bette enjoys spending quality time with her husband and daughter. She has been fascinated with bird watching, tracking the many species that visit her feeders. When time permits she loves to explore antique stores or attend concerts featuring her favorite bands.
